How To Get VCO..? To get VCO with high quality needed high correctness, If happened mistake in course of making will yield oil with low quality.
Conditions of VCO which is high quality: Made from fresh old coconut fruit. Made from coconut of original varietas. Without whitening process and distilation. Without deodorize process. Not experience of hidrogenation process. Free from additional chemicals. Free from microorganism. Degree of water less than 0.1%. Warm-up less than 60°C.
Following some process of VCO: 1. Vacuum Process at temperature 60°C. - Take flesh of fresh old coconut. - Clean flesh of coconut until cleanness. - Scar flesh of coconut with scraper machine. - Put result of rasp into magle machine without water (coconut mink). - Put coconut mink into vacuum appliance at temperature 60°C. - Letting several hours formed oil. - Decant its oil, then extort and filter. - Oil is ready to used.
Excess of vacuum process: - Water contents a little. - Feel crispy and fresh.
Lack of vacuum process: - Colour less clear (rather turn yellow) - Time required to yield oil is long, 24 - 48 hours.
2. Fermentation Process. - Take flesh of fresh old coconut. - Clean flesh of coconut until cleanness. - Scar flesh of coconut with scraper machine. - Put result of rasp into magle machine with mix water sufficiently (yielding coconut mink). - Put coconut mink into ferment tube, let during 12 hours at temperature 30°C - 35°C. After 12 hours will be formed 4 coat, those are flour sediment, water, oil and coconut mink residue. - Open faucet of ferment tube to dissociate coats. - Put oil coat into water gallon (inversed gallon position and its back part is given faucet). Hush several hours and form two coat those are coconut mink residue and oil. Oil yielded is VCO, but water contents still high. - Put VCO into vacuum machine during four hours at temperature 60°C to lessen water contents. - VCO is ready to used.
Excees of Fermentation Process: - Yielded Oil more and crispy likely. - Lauric acid contents high (46% - 55%). - Besides yielding oil (lauric acid), also yield E vitamin and enzymes which depended in flesh of coconut.
Lack of Fermentation Process: - There are many enzyme in the oil. - Need long time, 12 hours.
